Paul Knop is a soft spoken Southern gentleman who knows the true meaning of getting the job done. Paul established Family Boating and Marine Centers in 1989 with the vision of providing the Tampa Bay community a family friendly marine dealership. The name he chose for his dealership has come full circle as he has employed his father, brother, son, nephew, sister-in-law, and even his wife to make positive impacts on the company. Paul has guided Family Boating through the years with an award winning team of professionals. In 2015, the Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce awarded FBC runner-up for small business of the year. Paul is an avid outdoorsman and regularly enjoys the company of his friends and family on hunting and fishing adventures.

Greg is a sales professional that was raised on the water and has gained invaluable experience and knowledge of the marine industry. Greg leads a team of dedicated sales associates that has captured numerous factory awards and accolades, year after year. A graduate from the University of Central Florida, Greg gained real world sales experience in the construction materials industry before deciding to join forces with his father to push Family Boating Centers to the next level of excellence. Greg puts the "family" in our company name and is continuing his grandfather's legacy with an amazing family of his own. Ask him about his daughters or his Brittany Spaniel and his smile lights up like a LED spreader light on the T-top of a Pathfinder!
Captain Brian Epperson started with Family Boating Centers back in 2005 offering his knowledge at boat shows, helping with customer deliveries. and giving on water boating demonstrations. He joined the staff full time in 2015 and has never looked back. As an accomplished tournament fisherman, he has a room full of trophies and over-all series wins. With his vast knowledge of our local waters, he will find the boat that suits your needs. He is the father of two daughters and has great expertise in helping families choose their first or next boat!
Captain Bill Aston is a maverick in the marine industry and an expert angler. When he is not doing everything in his power to get his customers into their "dream rig", he is launching his '83 18' Maverick Master Angler "Conch Fritter" off his dock in Riviera Bay. Bill currently holds a USCG 50-ton Captain's license, over 35 years experience on the water and over 15 years in new and used boat sales. Bill is most proud of the family he raised here in the Tampa Bay area with his wife Tracey, including a daughter in the corporate world, a son who served for our country in the U.S. Army, and his youngest son who is attending the University of Florida's engineering school.

Brad Wagner leads the team of marine technicians at our South Tampa location with unrivaled problem solving skills. More than just the service manager who greets you with a smile at the parts counter, Brad rolls up his sleeves every day and turns wrenches while passing on his experience and knowledge onto the younger techs. Not only does Brad posses years of marine industry experience, he also excelled in the custom car audio world building trophy winning exotic creations, so he is right at home at rigging accessories on any vessel. Ask him to show you pictures of his brand new bull dog puppy or his custom interior design work at his condo, he is super proud of both!
Service Manager, North Tampa
Curtis Williams heads up the team of mechanics and riggers at the Anderson Road location. He is the most-senior tenured member of the Family Boating service force with 25 years. Curtis is in his element when his hands are dirty diagnosing stubborn problems and finding solutions to ensure a fix that is going to be right the first time. In his free time, Curtis loves to run his 2200 Pathfinder boat around Tampa Bay.
